Art Therapy

Art therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses the creative process of drawing, painting, modeling, and other artistic forms to help children express their feelings, thoughts, and experiences freely and safely. For many children, art becomes an alternative language to communicate emotions that may be difficult to express in words.

Through artistic creation, children have the opportunity to explore emotions, cope with stress, improve self-esteem, and develop their social and communication skills. The creative process helps with emotional expression, develops self-confidence, and increases self-awareness, contributing to overall psychological well-being.

This therapy is especially useful for children who are dealing with emotional difficulties, trauma, developmental disorders, or communication challenges, as it offers them a gentle, creative, and non-threatening way to process their experiences.

At our center, art therapists work in a calm and supportive environment, guiding the child through the process of creating and interpreting their own art. Each session is tailored to the child’s age, abilities, and individual needs, so that the child feels free to create, express, and develop in a healthy way.
